Soderquist Fellowship program

The Soderquist Fellowship program offers talented individuals the opportunity to receive a full scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree at John Brown University while working for Milestone Leadership. This model of applied academics brings students together with practitioners in a dynamic professional setting. Milestone Leadership has partnered with John Brown University.

Fellowship Highlights

Full scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree at John Brown University, a private, non-denominational Christian University, ranked by U.S. News as one of the top regional universities in the South.

Monthly Stipend of $1,550 as a Project Coordinator for Milestone Leadership.

Access to top leaders, across a spectrum of industries ranging from Fortune 100 to nonprofit.

Exciting place to study business. The Northwest Arkansas region is home to the corporate offices of Walmart, Tyson Foods, and J.B. Hunt, as well as approximately 1,500 Walmart suppliers.

Incomparable experience and opportunity. Fellows are immersed in a small, fast-paced team environment that offers the chance to lead key projects, innovate and create organizational culture—simultaneously gaining invaluable professional experience while obtaining a Master’s degree.

Career acceleration. Our Fellowship graduates have gone on to do amazing things, ranging from earning a Doctorate, running a top-performing team and even starting a life-saving nonprofit.

A limited number of Soderquist Fellowships are available each academic year. Successful applicants are able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, personal initiative, flexibility, and a willingness to learn by experience.

Before being considered for a fellowship, candidates must apply for admission to the Graduate program through the JBU Graduate Admissions Office. Provisional fellowships may be awarded upon approval by Milestone Leadership and the Director(s) of Graduate Programs. Milestone Leadership will receive all submitted transcripts and letters of recommendation. Full award of a fellowship will not take place until all admission requirements have been met with the JBU Graduate School.
